• Liking stuff is way more fun than hating stuff.
• Talking excitedly about something that you like a lot is much, much cooler and more interesting then bitching and moaning about stuff you hate a lot. 
• Just because you like something does not make it objectively good; just because something is objectively good, doesn’t mean you have to like it.
• Just because someone else likes (or hates) something, doesn’t mean you have to like (or hate) it too. 
• If someone tries to tell you that you do have to like (or hate) something just because they do, that person is being a bad friend.
