London street artist Mobstr has been hitting the streets again with some new typographic pieces, from billboards to stencil pieces, stickers to wooden A-boards and vinyl letters the artist has been busy of late. Here is some of the artists new work that Hookedblog spotted over the weekend.

How to draw an fucking Unicorn

So it all begin with a friend during a boring class when I randomly drew a funny unicorn. It was honestly so cool, we tried to get better and drew more fucking nice unicorns. We finded out some brilliant proceeds and passed through interesting high-level drawing sessions. The left column was drawn by me and the right column by my friend Andrew which clearly has a incredible talent for instinctive drawing. Also it’s in chronological order from up to down. The final product is a true masterpiece: the drawing of “Flora, the best unicorn of the world” on which we both added elements turn by turn.

Each time I’m looking at those unicorns I’m seriously thinking they are fucking awesome. I mean, some of them are so funny and creepy at the same time it drives me insanly mad.

    HAhHAHahhahahHAhAHAhadsjklqmjfkqsd.

    my friends are cool

    RABBITS

My first try at breakcore, sampling the amen break and David Lynch’s short films “Rabbits”. I made this really quickly and it lacks of lot of things but I’m definitely going to made a nice track out of this with more work, structure and effects.

  22. I drew you guys a story!

    chekhovandowl:

It’s a story about how I got to realize that I am aromantic - so basically it’s a self-discovery story. That might sound kind of boring… it’s nothing exquisite. But I started doodling it, and before I knew it, I was finished! This is kind of a big deal. I hardly ever finish anything.

I don’t care if you share this or use the images. Giving me credit would be nice, but it’s more important that you please remember the main message. C:

Criticism is always welcome, as long as you’re polite and constructive.

I was thinking about making a comic about an aromantic person, so I went through the tag to learn more about the subject and BAM someone has already done it and far better than what I could’ve done.

I loved the comic! It’s really well done and simple and effective(?) and the drawings are cool ( “After all, my world is full of color and mystery and beauty”. That line really got me)

I don’t know if i’m going to draw my comic or not. Maybe i’ll draw something else instead, like pokémon or robots

“This book just has a lot of awesome things going on. Someone was practicing their math on the front blank pages and maybe someone else was practicing their handwriting on the last blank pages. There are also doodles throughout and the book appears to have suffered some water damage and rough readers (torn/ripped pages).”

Throughout Conspiracy of Catiline by Charles Anthon (1854). Original from Harvard University. Digitized April 2, 2008.

Jeremiah Johnson (AKA Nullsleep) has created a collection of highly abstract and high definition pixel art, existing somewhere between old and new technologies and aesthetics.
